Political Director

Fight for 15 Florida:

Coordinated and implemented the political program to organize fast food workers to fight for $15/hour wage and safe working conditions. In 2020, the campaign culminated with a statewide ballot initiative, Amendment 2, that sought to make $15/hour the minimum wage in Florida. We won the measure and received 700,000 more votes than Donald Trump
